Dean, and the way this company works

Pros On Call Gates & Garage Doors is owned and run by Dean Lavi. Fifteen-plus years in the trade, an office on Main Street in Round Rock, and one rule that runs everything else: you hear the price before we start.

  • Fully insured
  • 15+ years in the trade
  • 1-year labor warranty

Why I started this

I have worked on garage doors and gates for more than fifteen years. Over that time I heard the same story from homeowners again and again: a cheap service call on the phone, then a bill on the driveway three times bigger, for parts nobody showed them.

So this company runs the other way around. Prices are published. The tech looks first, explains what failed, and writes down the price. Nothing starts until you say yes. If it is a $149 fix, you hear that it is a $149 fix.

We do gates too, from the new subdivisions to the ranch roads west of the lake. A gate gets the same look-first, price-first visit as a door.

House rules

  1. 1

    The price comes first

Starting prices are on this website. Your exact price is in writing before any work, and if you say no you pay only the service call: $49 for a door, $95 for a gate.

  2. 2

We look at the whole system

Springs, cables, drums, rollers, tracks, openers, sensors. A repair that ignores the worn part next to the broken one is half a repair.

  3. 3

    You see the old part

We hand you the broken spring or the burned board and show you what failed. No mystery charges.

  4. 4

    Gates and doors, one crew

Operators, batteries, solar, sensors, keypads and new gates get the same look-first, price-first visit as a door. The same people answer the phone for both.

  5. 5

    One year on the labor

If something we did fails within a year, we come back and fix it. Parts carry their manufacturer warranty.
