Open spring
Do this now: Don't run the opener again and don't try to lift the door by hand. A door with a broken spring weighs as much as a refrigerator.
Springs, openers, off-track doors and driveway gates, fixed by a crew that works out of Main Street in Round Rock. You hear the price first. Every time.

Find your situation. Each entry tells you what to do right now, what we check and where the price starts.
A bang like a gunshot from the garage, and now the door won't lift or the opener strains and stops.
The door hangs crooked, a roller has popped out, or a cable is loose and the door is stuck partway.
The motor hums, clicks or does nothing. The remote or the wall button stopped working.
The driveway gate won't open, won't close, or opens halfway and reverses.
The door is dented, drafty or dated, or you want an automatic gate or a keypad at the drive.
A community gate is down, a roll-up door won't close at closing time, or a dock door is stuck.
It's behind the door. Starting prices for the jobs we do most, and your exact price comes in writing before any work.

A person in our Round Rock office answers, asks what happened and gives you an arrival window.
The tech inspects the door or gate and tells you what failed and why, before touching a tool.
You get the price in writing. Nothing starts until you say yes. Approve the repair and the service call is waived.
We show you the broken part, test the door or gate with you, and the labor is covered for a year.

Pros On Call Gates & Garage Doors304 E Main St #204
I've been fixing garage doors and gates for more than fifteen years. I started this company because people kept telling me the same story: a cheap service call, then a bill three times the quote. So here it works the other way. The price comes first, in writing. If it's a $149 fix, I'll tell you it's a $149 fix.

A stuck automatic gate usually has a plain cause: a dirty eye, a weak battery, a bound hinge. Here is what we check first and what is safe for you to try.
A single torsion spring starts at $229 installed, and a pair starts at $349. Most doors with two springs should get both replaced at once, because the second spring is the same age as the one that broke. You get the exact price before we start.
Yes. We work on gates every week: swing and slide gate openers, solar and battery problems, safety sensors, keypads, intercoms and new driveway gates, for homes, HOAs and businesses.
The office is open every day from 7am to 8pm. After 8pm we run an emergency line for doors stuck open and gates that will not close, with a $149 after-hours trip fee you hear about before we come out.
A door service call is $49, a gate call is $95 and a commercial door call is $95. On a door or gate repair you approve on that visit, the service call is waived. We say "free" only when it is free.
